ARTIST NOTES: Brolgas are some of my favourite birds, I love watching them take off. Diamonds are part of my life story and the reason why I live in Kununurra. The triangles on this painting show the facets of diamonds when you look deep into them. I have incorporated lots of tiny rough diamonds on this work, about 12ct, and some of them are very pale pink. The boab tree is unique to the Kimberley, WA
