ARTIST BIO

I never set out to create an art piece on a particular subject or scene.  I feel the paint between my fingers, dabbing, \"splodging.\"  I use different objects - lids, leaves, lettuce.  Stamping, rolling, making marks on the canvas.  I dance (wildly.)  I sing (loudly and badly.)  I have fun. This is how I paint.

\r\n

Layer upon layer upon layer.  Bits of the previous layers shine through. Sometimes my work is abstract - colours, contrast, shapes. Sometimes I see a part that reminds me of a nose or an ear. I let the image come alive on my canvas.  This is my process.

\r\n

Each person takes something different from my paintings. There is no right or wrong. Only different interpretations.  Let\'s talk, listen - together. Understand and accept each other\'s interpretations. This is my why.
